Warwick enjoys a superb reputation for academic prowess with a track record of delivering excellent teaching to undergraduates and postgraduates. This is one of the reasons that the institution managed to attract over 8000 international students from all over the world to enrol. Another reason is the close links with employers that the University has fostered. This is particularly helpful in ensuring that students are able to go on to challenging and stimulating professional careers in their chosen fields. In 2013 Warwick was recognised as the “number 1 target for graduate recruitment by top employers” in an influential report. Excellent sports facilities and a huge library add to the student experience.
The University of Warwick lies about three miles outside the centre of Coventry and on the border of Warwickshire. Warwick boasts a spectacular castle which is great for a day trip. Coventry has all the other mod cons you require, though the modern (well, modern in the 1960s) main campus is charming and very well equipped. A vibrant and diverse student population has helped to ensure that there are plenty of excellent bars and restaurants where students can enjoy themselves during a break from the books, and the town is situated close to some of the best countryside England has to offer. History lovers will revel in the ancient stories of conquering armies and battles!
